I can not express how much I have enjoyed these boots! After reading the other reviews I went with a half size larger, ( I wear an 8 I ordered an 8.5) and they were a perfect fit. I got the boots in the mail right on time and about 2 days before a camping trip. I wore them around work just in case they needed some breaking in, but they honestly did not need it. On our trip I wore them every day with light hiking and some fishing as our activities. I wore them with heavy socks and with light ones and never had an issue with any rubbing, slipping, or blisters, and I am prone to blisters! I even stepped into the lake up to near the top of the boot and my feet stayed dry! Keep in mind, the water did not go over the top of the boots which could have easily made for a different expirience. The color was exactly how I expected it to be, (I ordered the teal w/ coral accent) and they cleaned up very well after all the mud, rain, lake water, and trail debre. If you are looking for a good, easy, light weight boot, these are for you!These boots are super cute and very comfortable! I bought them for a trip to Acadia in Maine and they did not disappoint. I didn’t get a chance to break them in before the trip, so I doubled up on socks just in case to prevent any blisters. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the loops on the tied laces on one boot kept getting caught on the lace rungs on the opposite boot, causing me to trip more than once. I’m sure double knotting them next time would fix this problem, I just retied the laces more toward the outside this time and that seemed to help. Other than that, no other complaints and I would definitely recommend these!I stuck my foot in a river of rainwater and the boot held the water inside as though it was made of rubber. I have no doubt they will prevent water from the outside in.My favorite hiking boot . Nice wide toe area for my wide fat feet . The suede leather stretch’s and forms to my feet perfectly. Excellent boot . Warm and dry . No need for heavy socks . Comes in a double wide . ??These are some of the best hiking boots I’ve tried. I hiked 3 different trails and days on Mt Rainier with very little breaking in beforehand. They were so comfortable. I got no blisters and my feet felt great. They’re so pretty and look just like the picture. They do get a lot of dust with how light they are and they clean relatively easy. Would recommendI bought these because I’d like to start taking my hiking seriously. The shoe looks pretty sturdy and well made, plus the colors are really nice. They fit perfectly, true to size and are surprisingly lightweight despite how they look! Excited to go hike with them, and will add to my review once I do :)The first day I wore these I wore them on a several hours hike and they worked out great without needing to break them in. I did not test the waterproof capability, but they seem well-made. No complaints.Works great for fly fishingThese boots are fantastic! Super comfortable. I wore them hiking mount katadhin for 11 hours after only breaking them in by walking to and from work 25 min each way on city sidewalks for about a week before the mountain. I had zero discomfort, no rubbing or blisters. Great support for your feet and ankles. Some spots on the trail required you to walk through water or the trail was up a Waterfall, and my feet didn't get wet at all! They truly are waterproof as long as the water isn't super deep to go over the boot. My feet are a little wide and I wear between 7.5-8. I ordered the 8 wide and they were great and still roomy in the toe box while wearing a normal sport sock plus thick wool socks for the long hike. Another plus is I got them in pink and had several compliments on them! They do get dirty fast if you're actually wearing them for hiking, but that's expected with a lighter colored boot! I'll definitely be wearing these through winter in Canada this year too.I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes. I have wide feet and a high instep. These were comfortable out of the box. There was no breaking in period like with so many of the shoes I've purchased. They have good grips. I walk my large puppy on very rough trails and I never lose my footing, even when she pulls me toward some interesting smell.Didn’t need to break in at all - put on brand new for hiking in Hawaii and they were amazing. So comfortable, durable, waterproof. They stained a bit with mud but as expected with a light coloured boot - haven’t tried to clean them up yet so I’m hopeful.Perfect fit exact size I expected and protected my ankles.
