This coat is really beautiful. Starting from the inside, it has a very nice satin - like lining with piping on the seams giving it a high end finish. It also has an inside right breast pocket also with piping. The collar can be spread open creating a v-neck and big lapels just by unbuttoning the collar buttons and the first front button. This is a very textured fabric. Similar to a basket-weave. The front side pockets are reasonably deep.The color is exactly as pictured. I am 5"5 , weight 160, busty (D-cup). It covers my backside completely. The cut is semi-fitted. Not close fitting but not a box either. I have short arms so every jacket sleeve has to be shortened. The belt looks really nice but anyone can easily cut off the belt loops and wear it belt-less and have it look something like a modern Peacoat. I plan on wearing this to Amsterdamin April. Weather fluctuates between mid 50's and low 40's F. With a layers of T and sweater I will be warm enough. I bet it looks high-end in black .UPDATE: Now that I have worn this coat I think an update is needed. I still think its beautiful and well made however since the fabric is very textured it does snag easier than a flat fabric. I got my backpack zipper snagged on the fabric and had to do some minor repair. I never wore the belt
